Are your students bored with easy world-based games? If they’re looking for a challenge, then this is definitely the game for them!
Here’s how it works:
Each slide contains five letters, some green, and some red. As soon as you put the slide up, start a timer (we’d recommend either 30 or 60 seconds), because they need to come up with the longest word they can think of that contains all of the green letters and doesn’t contain any of the red letters. And the student that comes up with the longest (actual) word that fits the rules wins!
If it sounds frustrating, that’s because it ABSOLUTELY is!!
We know that your judges won’t need it (…yeah right), but this game also includes a Judges’ Cheat Sheet with links to a website that will tell you all the possible words that can be made from each letter combination.
This Resource Includes:
- Author product video (mp4 file)
- Complete PowerPoint game file
- Individual (10 Qs + instructions) game slides (jpeg files)
- Title slide (jpeg file)
- Printable judges’ cheat Sheet (pdf file)
