This four-week series is all about influence. The central question is this:  “What kind of wake are you leaving behind you?” We'll explore our role in what God is doing in the world and what exactly we’re supposed to be doing with our lives.

WAKES 1 | WAKES

This teaching introduces the concept of the series and challenges students to think about the kinds of wakes they are leaving behind.

WAKES 2 | FRIENDS

We often don’t realize the massive impact friends have on us. The central question in this teaching is this: “What direction is my inner circle of friends taking me?”

WAKES 3 | MISSION 

This teaching explores the first chapter of Acts, asking a question the disciples must have been asking after Jesus ascended: “What are we still doing here?!” The answer is to be witnesses of who Jesus is and what he is doing in our lives. 

WAKES 4 | VILLAINS

The least likely person to become the Apostle to the Gentiles was Saul. If God could use Saul, He can use you.  No one is too far-gone to be used by God.
