Looking for an all-play football-themed game that requires zero football knowledge and goes beyond simple trivia? This is the perfect choice!
Here’s how it works: Everyone starts at the 30-yard line, aiming to be the first to reach 100 yards (TOUCHDOWN!!!). Players track their progress using their fingers, with each finger representing 10 yards. If you lose all your yards, you’re out of the game.
Each round begins with a "Choose Your Play!" slide, listing four football plays labeled A, B, C, or D. Don’t worry—no football knowledge is needed to choose a play! Students have 20 seconds (slides have a built-in timer) to lock in their choice by telling their neighbor. The next slide, "Hut, Hut, HIKE!" reveals the results. Plays can earn yards, lose yards, or have no effect. Players update their score by adding or subtracting fingers. But beware of "Interception" slides—if your play results in an interception, you lose all your yards and are eliminated.
The game ends when the first player reaches 100 or more yards and yells, "TOUCHDOWN!"
This game includes video slides with motion backgrounds, countdowns, and crowd noise for added excitement. Prefer a quieter experience? Video slides without sound are included, as well as still images and files for PowerPoint and Keynote, giving you plenty of flexibility.
