Doug's note: Love this! Fun to see a media game copies a great TV game show.
The pyramids in Egypt have been around for thousands of years, and so will this game… because it's AWESOME! The Pyramid is a fast-paced game that will reward a sharp mind and quick thinking.
Here’s how to play:
Once the round begins, the clue-giver has to come up with a list of words that fit a given category. The guesser has the guess the category from that list of words. For example, if the clue giver says, "sail, rudder, rope, captain, life jacket," the guesser could correctly answer: "things on a boat." There are six questions for each round. Give 100 points for each of the first three questions, 200 for the fourth and fifth question, and 300 points for the fifth question, for a total of 1000 possible points each round. A round should last 30 seconds to one minute depending on the skill of your players. There are 10 rounds, plus a tiebreaker round.
You can play this game upfront or in teams. Gameplay options are detailed in the included instructions document.
