In churches and youth ministries all around the country, you can almost guarantee that some kind of musical worship is happening on a weekly basis. But have you ever stopped to ask the questions: Why do we worship? Is worship more than music? Music is absolutely part of worship, but what if there was more to it than just a pretty melody? It might seem like these are simple questions, but they have a profound implication for your life and your leadership. You can’t participate in or help lead worship if you don’t know what worship is actually all about. (*This is a two-part mini-series on Student-Led Worship. Remember to check out Student-Led Worship—Part 2: How.)
HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE:
Option 1: Use this in a Group Setting
Follow along in the Facilitator’s Guide and you’ll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you. The student handouts are on a separate file; be sure to make copies for each student in your group.
Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student.
Just make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there). If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.
