Strange Words is a multiple-choice game created around the newly released words in the dictionary. The fun and challenge of the game are to see how students can use prior knowledge of existing words to match these new words to their correct definitions. It's easier said than done. Since new words are added to the dictionary each year, selected words are relevant to students and culturally appropriate for all groups.
