This game involves ten of the most commonly misspelled words in our language. Can your students tell which is the correct spelling and which is not? Is it accommodate or acommodate? Consensus or concensus? What about you - can you find the correct spelling? Who will be the Spelling Champ? 

In this video based game, two versions of a word will appear on screen for seven seconds. Students then lock in their answer on which they think is correct. The most correct wins the game!

It can be played with students up front to see who gets the most right, or it can be played with the whole room by having them stand, raise one or two fingers to give their answer, with wrong answers making them sit down. The last one standing wins!
