A four-week sermon series on why our interaction with others matters.

Details

We are created for relationships; to be social. “Social” is defined by our interaction with others. If God created us to be social, then we ought to be good at it! Are we living socially how God intended? Is transforming work of Christ in our lives is social media to the world? Does the world know I’m a believer? This series will help our students understand how we are created to interact with each other in a way that magnifies the love of Christ.

Key Passages: Genesis 2, Hebrews 10:24, 1 John 4, Proverbs 12:25 & 15:1, James 2, Philippians 2, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Hebrews 13.

Week 1- Living Social. We are designed by God to be social. If that’s true, then we ought to be good at being social.

Week 2 - Social Media. My life is the social media God uses to declare the gospel to the world. Can others see the transforming work of Christ in me?

Week 3 - Anti-social. What happens when we refuse to be social and choose to live in isolation? Life is more fun living in community with other believers.

Week 4 - Social Security. Am I confident I am living socially how God intended? In-depth verse-by-verse study of Hebrews 13.
