A game of hilarity where students use predictive text to finish Christmas statements. Available in three slide formats for gameplay.

Details

Predictive text (the suggested words at the top of our phone keyboards) works some of the time. Most of the time, if you start picking words, wacky or strange messages start to form. This game gives students the opportunity to use predictive text to finish out some Thanksgiving-focused prompts.

There are three versions of graphics and multiple ways you can use them for in-person or social media (or even combined) gameplay.

Screen Version:
Use the screen game slides or PowerPoint file in your main program. You can play it just for fun as a mixer, where you have every student finish the statement using their phone. Ask the crowd to share the funniest/strangest results. You can also turn the game into a competition by voting on the “best” result.

Square Version:
Place a prompt in the feed of your Instagram, Facebook, or other social accounts, and get responses from your followers.

Story Version:
Place the prompts in your Story. Add the question feature for people to enter their responses or just let them comment.

Social Prompt/ Share in Group:
Use one of the social versions (Square or Story) with the screen version. Post the prompts in the week leading up to your next gathering, and let the comments come in. At your next gathering, put the prompts on the screen, and share your favorite responses.

About this Product
Predictive text gives three choices for words. Encourage students to go for the more ridiculous choice. Also, think through your group's ability to stay within the parameters of appropriateness and coach them accordingly.
