Parables: Stories Jesus Told is a four-week teaching series created by Experience Scripture that explores four parables recorded in the Gospels. These ancient stories effectively and vividly communicate truths about the character and nature of God and will challenge students to think critically about what it means to participate in the Kingdom of God.
The series breakdown:
Week 1: The Unjust Judge
Week 2: The Good Samaritan
Week 3: The Workers in the Vineyard
Week 4: The Prodigal Son (or The Two Lost Sons)
While some of the parables covered in this series are relatively common, we will carefully read the stories together and do our best to discern the truth that Jesus was communicating. We will often find that the most common interpretation of these parables are not always the fullest interpretations.
In addition to four fully-developed manuscripts, this series includes small group discussion guides, PowerPoint presentations for each lesson, and ready-to-post social media images.
