Students guess if the odd superhero is real or fake.

Details

You’ve heard of the usual suspects: Batman, Superman, and Spiderman. But what about “Arm-Fall-Off Boy”, “The Dog Welder”, and “Monsieur Farts-a-lot”? This funny, screen-based game challenges students to decide if the odd, not-so-well-known superhero is real or fake.

There are so many ways to play this game; however, here are a few that work really well:

- Individual Score sheet: give each student (or group of students) a golf pencil and a score sheet to answer on their own as the game progresses.

- Head-to-Head: have two students (or groups) face off at the front of the room. Have competing students stand face to face with their hands behind their back. Place a buzzer in front of the competing students on a table or stand. The first student to hit the buzzer guesses first.

Pro Tip: The tie-breaker slide describes a youth pastor or a small group leader. Use the editable PowerPoint file to insert a picture of your choosing.

This game can be used as a springboard to a message or discussion about how each student is uniquely gifted by God, but how such gifts can be easily overlooked. Of course, every youth group has at least one Captain Stinky Feet, but who knows? Every student has the potential to become God’s next superhero!

Here’s what’s included:
