Psalm 33:8 says, "Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!" We are told that we are simply "inhabitants" of this world, meaning we were made for something else and thus can never be satisfied by the world around us. "Native" is a 3-week series that dives into what it means to live in awe of God, and examines what things tend to replace our awe of Him, and how to prepare and fight in the battle of awe of God and awe of ourselves. Your students will learn how their "native" state on Earth is sinful, but because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, we can become natives of the kingdom of Heaven.
