It smells like "team" spirit! Most schools elect to go with a common team name for their sports teams like Eagles or Wildcats, but not these schools! The second version of this icebreaker game challenges students to decide which unique team names are real and which ones have been made up. Mascot or MascNOT is bound to score a touchdown (or hit a homerun) with your students.

About this Product
This icebreaker is best used as a crowd or stage game. As a crowd game, have students give a thumbs up if they think the unique team name is real or a thumbs down if they think it was made up. Students will then sit down when they get it wrong until the last person is standing. As a stage game, have students go head-to-head guessing which team names are real and which ones were made up. Best out of 10 (plus one tiebreaker) wins.
