This or That: Make the Case is a classic game of “Would You Rather” with a twist! Students use their persuasion skills to argue which of two options is the better choice.

Each slide contains two fall-themed options that students must choose between. Before they decide, however, you are to invite two students to give a 30-second defense of why their choice is the best option. After each student has presented their case, students must choose. You are sure to hear some wild defenses for things you have never thought of before! While not as competitive as other games, this activity offers the opportunity for tons of laughs and brings out the creativity and humor of your students! 

While simple, This or That can serve as an easy ice-breaker and is flexible enough to fit into whatever time you have allotted for an opening game.
