Details

In this hilarious spin on Saint Patrick’s Day, your group will be invited to investigate the stories some mischievous leprechauns are spreading about this historic event. Your group will then guess whether their story is “LEGIT” or a “LIE.”

Was Saint Patrick really captured by pirates? Did he miraculously cast away all snakes from Ireland? When exactly did he become a saint? Make your best guess, learn something new, and have a blast diving into the inspirational history behind Saint Patrick’s Day!

Here are a few fun, different ways to play:

  • Have your group give a thumbs up if they think it’s “LEGIT” and thumbs down if they think it’s a “LIE.”
  • Invite your group to get up and move to the left side of the room if they think it’s “LEGIT” and to the right if they think it’s a “LIE.”
  • Have a boy and girl, or student and leader, come up on stage to face off and see who can guess the correct answer first.

About this Product
This game is great to play as is, but can also serve as a segue for your message. Several of the questions relate to Saint Patrick's ministry, and his heart to reach the people of Ireland. Whether it's connecting it to the example of Jesus, or inviting students to consider who *they* could share their faith with, this is sure to be a solid launching point for the rest of the night!
