Details

Embark on a thrilling adventure in Loot & Lunacy, an adventure game with retro pixel art animations that will challenge your students' wits, strategy, and decision-making. Together, You'll journey through ten perilous encounters in search of a legendary gem, "The Heart of the Mountain". Along the way, you'll face daring choices, mysterious creatures, and treacherous obstacles, where every decision could mean the difference between survival and elimination.

At the start of the game, each player begins with five lives. Use the provided print-out or keep track with fingers, tokens, slips of paper, etc. In each round, you'll be faced with a scenario and four possible choices. To choose their path, players will move to the corresponding corner of the room or, if space is limited, hold up 1, 2, 3, or 4 fingers. Some choices will lead to success and progress, while others come with consequences—players who make a poor decision will lose one life.

Lose all five lives, and you're eliminated... unless fate intervenes. If the entire group is wiped out before the final round, a twist of mercy grants everyone an extra life and another chance to reclaim glory!

Survive all ten encounters and claim The Heart of the Mountain to win, but beware: the road is fraught with danger, and every choice counts. Do your students have what it takes to survive long enough to claim the treasure? There's only one way to find out—let the lunacy begin!

About this Product
• The entire game takes about 16 minutes to play. • Grab a mic and direct traffic during the 20 second decision time. Make sure students know which corner to move to, or how to designate their choice. • Having some sort of physical life marker is helpful and fun (clothespins, coins, slips of paper, etc.), but for a no-prep game you can just have student keep score on their hands. • Feel free to give students extra lives or remove lives as you see fit.
