In this screen game, students compete by making lists related to summer… yup, that's really the game! Each round has a category and the challenge is to make the longest list of things that fit within each category. There are two versions of gameplay.
Face-Off Version: Bring up two, three, or four participants (really you can bring as many as you want), or divide the group into teams and appoint a spokesperson for each team. Let Photo Fury land on the category (example: Picnic Foods). One by one, students/teams name an item that fits in that category. If something is repeated or someone gets stumped, they are out for that round. The last person standing wins the round.
Rapid Fire: Divide the larger group into smaller teams or pull up "contestants". Select your category, and give 30-seconds for each team to make the longest list possible (pro-tip: have pen and paper or mini whiteboard and marker available for each team/individual). After the time is up, have them count up how many they had on their list. Scoring can be determined by simply having teams tally one point for every item listed or one point per round to the team/contestant with the longest list.
This is a great game to get students thinking and talking.
