Every leader eventually faces a worst-case scenario moment—a perfect storm of problems. These experiences are powerful. They have the potential to end a project permanently, or they can become defining moments in a leader’s growth. Jesus’ followers experienced the ultimate meltdown moment when Jesus was arrested and crucified. Their response can show student leaders what to avoid, and Jesus’ words to them after his resurrection can show students how to make it past these crises in one piece. Students will then take steps toward creating an action plan to prepare for these inevitable moments.
HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE: Option 1: Use this in a Group Setting Just keep following along in this Facilitator’s Guide and you’ll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you. The student handouts are on a separate file; be sure to make copies for each student in your group.
Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship, or for an individual student Just make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there).
