What does it mean to listen to God's voice? Equip student leaders on how to hear God's voice to grow in their own faith.

Details

Part of being a leader is learning to listen to the voice of God. We listen because we want to know his will and to be in a relationship with him. But often, we think God will speak to us as he did with Moses. In these “burning bush” kind of moments. He can clearly speak to us this way, but God also speaks in a whisper, a still, small voice. Your Student Leaders need to understand that God doesn’t just speak in big attention-grabbing ways. He also speaks through the Holy Spirit in the small pulls and nudges on our hearts. To be a good leader is to learn to listen to his voice.

Follow along in the Facilitator’s Guide and you’ll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you.  The student handouts are on a separate file; be sure to make copies for each student in your group.

Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student.
Just make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there).  If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.
