Details

IYKYK is a traditional icebreaker get-to-know-one-another activity with a competitive twist. Here is how it works:

• Call two people on stage to compete against each other. Each contestant should then choose a partner they think they know extremely well.

• Each round possesses three opportunities to earn points. One point will be awarded if the contestant correctly guesses how their partner answers the question, their entire group answers the question, and how their leader answers the question.

Partner: After the question is asked, the contestant’s partner will write down their answer. After their partner has written down their answer, the contestant will guess which option they chose.

Group: Designate an “A” corner, “B” corner, “C” corner, and “D” corner. After the question is asked, the contestants will turn around while your group moves to the appropriate corner based on their answers. The contestant will then guess which option received the most answers.

Leader: Choose if you are going to use the contestant’s small group leader or the youth pastor for this round. After the question is asked, the leader will write down their answer. After they have written down their answer, the contestant will guess which option they chose.

About this Product
This game is a nice blend of an up-front stage game and a crowd mixer. While you could truncate this game to just feature the student and their partner, all three rounds accomplish something slightly different and allow for unique interactions within your group.
