Get students laughing and debating as they share their "hot takes" about all things fast food-related!

Details

Do you have students who just love to argue (I mean, debate)? Are they passionate about soda, burgers, chicken nuggets, and certain fast food mascots? Do they love having fun?

If you answered YES to any of those questions, this game is for your group! Choose two students to debate all 10 rounds, or bring new kids up each round. Either way, your kids will love getting to share their ""hot takes""--and your audience will love hearing their ""hot takes"" even more!

How to play:
- Call up two students to share their ""hot take"" related to the prompt (you can either show them beforehand, or call them up before the prompt is revealed!)
- (remember, a true ""hot take"" should be an unpopular opinion but something that they stand by!)
- Once both students have arrived at their answer, give them a moment to share their ""hot take,"" including a couple of moments to explain their reasoning!
- Once both students have shared, let the crowd vote on the ""hot take"" they agree with most (by show of hands, moving to one side of the room, clapping, booing...have fun with it!)

This Resource Includes:

  • Complete PowerPoint game file
  • Individual (10 rounds + instructions) game slides (jpeg files)
  • Title slide (jpeg file)
