Hot Hands is a fast-paced video-based game with a twist. In this group game, students will sit in a circle with their friends and add their hand(s) to the chaos in the middle. Whoever’s hand is ‘caught in the hot’ will have to perform the punishment after each round. The entire game is run on screen making this game simple and fire (pun intended)!

Gameplay Rules:
Students will sit in groups of 3-8 people. Before the round begins, each group will need to choose which student will start. When the video begins, students will add their hands into the middle of the circle ONE-BY-ONE in a counterclockwise direction (think of a football team huddling up to shout “GO TEAM” but putting their hands into the middle one at a time). As each student in the group adds one of their hands to the middle, eventually the process will make its way back to the start. At this point, each student will then add their OTHER hand. This process will continue infinitely in a counter-clockwise direction. When students run out of hands, the hand on the bottom of the pile will move to the top. The video will eventually prompt the groups to stop. Whoever has their hand on the top of the pile when the game comes to a halt is the “Hot Hand” and he/she must complete the punishment for the round which will be revealed on screen.
