In James 4:13-5:6, James called out the rich in powerful language. He condemned their hoarding of wealth, their cheating of the poor, and their life of luxury. Two thousand years later, his warning rings just as true for us. James' call for us to do what we know we are to do is a call to action for the poor and the needy and a life of contentment in God - it is a call to choose the gospel over greed.
