Details
Eat it or Delete it is a gross food game without the grocery bill or need to scrub vomit from the carpets afterwards.
Each round, students will be presented with a gross food from around the world (also known as "delicacies" for those of you with culture). Each round also contains a hypothetical "cash offer." Then, the students are faced with a decision. Will they "Eat it" or "Delete it"?
If the cash offer is tempting enough, students will move to the "Eat it" side of the room. If there's no amount of cash that would get them to eat a fermented sea bird, they move to the "Delete it" side of the room.
Multiple Game Modes:
- Casual Mode: Use this game as a fun icebreaker/mixer to get students talking, laughing, and discussing their boundaries around food and money.
- 90s Mode: Have students keep track of all of the cash offers they accept and see who has the most "money" at the end of the game. Have students keep score in their heads or bust out some Monopoly money. Bring the "winner(s)" up on stage and test their resolve with a gross food challenge of your choice (a blended happy meal is always a good choice). Entice them with a prize, or just put them to the test to see if they really ARE as adventurous as they claimed during the game!
