Details

Double or Nothing is a slide-driven game that tests your students' knowledge of random facts and also exposes their tolerance for risk!

Here’s how to play: A student starts with one piece of candy. Before they are read a true or false question, they are given the option of continuing in the game by risking their candy or saving their candy and ending their turn. If the student answers correctly, they double their candy. If they answer incorrectly, they lose their candy are out. Students are only allowed to risk all or nothing—nothing in between! Once a player is out, another player can enter the game and start with one piece of candy.

As students get further into the game, the stakes become higher, and the interactions become more interesting!

While simple, Double or Nothing can serve as an easy icebreaker and is flexible enough to fit into whatever time you have allotted for an opening game.

About this Product
You can also play a variant of this game when a student gets above five correct answers. You can negotiate a settlement, similar to "deal or no deal." This could add a fun dynamic to the game!
