What does it mean to be truly devoted to Jesus? For students, it can be difficult to remain devoted to Jesus in the midst of the distractions and temptations they face. That's why it's important that they develop and practice the core spiritual disciplines of the Christian faith. Devoted is a three-week study on spiritual disciplines. This resources breaks down as follows:
Week 1: Devoted to God's Word and Prayer
A detailed look at two essential spiritual disciplines, with a focus on listening to God.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16, Luke 18:9–14
Week 2: Devoted to Community and Fellowship
A look at the first community of Acts 2 and why it's essential to be a part of Christian community and living generously.
Scripture: Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:24–25
Week 3: Devoted to Unity and Service
An in-depth look at 1 Corinthians 12 and being part of the body of Christ, with some pretty crazy illustrations.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12–27
Each lesson comes with a full transcript and an abridged version of the lesson (the abridged version is better for shorter lessons or those who prefer to use their notes less.)
There are also small group discussion questions to follow each lesson.
