There’s no debating it, this game will be a hit with your students! This unique and fun screen-game challenges students to argue ridiculous resolutions (see the thumbnails for examples).
Here’s how the game works:
• Make two teams of 3-5 people each.
• Choose which team is “for” and which team is “against” (this changes every round)
• Put a resolution on the screen. The “for” team will go first and will have 60 seconds to argue in favor of the resolution.
• After, the “against” team will have 60 seconds to argue against the resolution. The team who debates the best wins that round.
• Use the audience or a panel of judges to decide the round winner.
