Clear Slate is a game of addicting predictions! It's a game that's different from any other game you have played. It is not about how athletic, smart, or original you can be but how similarly you think. This screen-based game is easy to learn, quick to play, and fun for everyone; just grab a paper or whiteboard, write a word, and get ready to make a match. It's great for large groups or small gatherings!
Objective:
Students use the word cues they see on the screen, and they write the word they think best completes the phrase and try to match it to another team or player’s word.
Example:
______________ Light
Different players or teams would maybe respond with night, flash, and green. For example, let’s say teams or players respond like…
Player 1: Flash
Player 2: Green
Player 3: Green
Player 4: Flash
Player 5: Flash
Player 6: Night
Scoring:
In the example, players 2 & 3 get 3 points because they only have 1 match, while players 1, 4, and 5 get 1 point because they have more than one match. Therefore, each team or player with the same word will receive 1 point, and player 6 gets 0 points because they have no matches.
