What is Blurt? Blurt is an all-play crowd game where everyone can get involved. It comes with an instructional video, so all you should need is to show your students the video, and you’ll be off to the races.
Gameplay Rules:
• Have students get in groups of 2-4 people.
• Reveal the “Theme Slide” so that students know what category to consider. (Example: Superheroes)
• Play the “Letter Scrambler Video.” Whatever letter is chosen on screen is the letter for that round. (Example: “S”)
• Students must mentally race to think of a word within the category that starts with the correct letter (Example: “Superman”) Whichever student is the first to BLURT out a correct answer within their group will receive one point.
• Students will keep track of their own scores for the entirety of the game.
