Back for another beating? Well, Beat the Volunteer: Round 2 gives you another chance to spice up the common onstage/onscreen trivia game by showcasing one of your amazing volunteers and giving him or her a chance to answer questions correctly…or receive a punishing pool-noodle beating by some of your students. Round 2 features the same gameplay of the first edition with questions that are slightly more answerable by your leaders (with plenty of chance to still receive a beating). How’s it work? Bring one (or two) of your beloved volunteers onto stage and have him/her bring two students along. Have your volunteer take a seat in a chair or stool in the center of the stage and have the students stand on either side of the volunteer. Hand each of the students a pool noodle. Ask the volunteer to give an answer to the first question. If he/she answers incorrectly, the students get the chance to “beat the volunteer” with the pool noodles for 5 seconds (or whatever you feel is an appropriate amount of time). Then go on to the next question. You can change it up by bringing up 2 or 3 volunteers and have them take turns answering the question or have them all answer and only those who get the question wrong get the 5-second beating.
