A Journey With God experience is set up to encourage students to get creative in their devotional Time Alone With God. Using the metaphor of a journey, 8 unique stations are set up for students to study scripture and then act upon it in a creative way.

You can have them go for a set time to each station and rotate through (my recommendation), or you can set this up as a “free for all” where you have the 8 stations set up and students go to the stations at their own pace and preference.

We have used these at our Summer Camp, Retreats, Midweek programs, student leadership training, and volunteer meetings.

With a 15-20 minute opening, and 15-20 closing/debrief, we’ve found the entire experience, beginning to end to last 2 ½ - 3 hrs. I have yet to have any student complain about the length of time or choose to be completely disengaged!
