This 6-week teaching series is called TIRED for a reason. We all get tired of handling and dealing with “issues” and we need some help. We are going to discover how to have the right perspective through these hard times can grow our faith. As we study Matthew 11:28-30, we will be dealing with many of the HOT-BUTTON issues high school students face each day. These issues really bring us down emotionally, but God desires to use these circumstances in life to develop our character and to bring us to complete dependence on Him.
We know many of your students are TIRED. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. Lets spend the next 6 weeks confronting some of the issues making them tired. Dating. School. Bad Decisions. Friends. Our hope through it all is, when we place our “issues” at the feet of the cross, we are choosing to seek refuge in Him.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
