💃 What is Lotería? According to ChatGPT, “Lotería is a traditional Mexican game of chance, often referred to as Mexican Bingo. The game is played with a deck of cards, each depicting colorful images such as animals, objects, and characters.”
💃 This game doesn't need a ton of supplies! All you need are pens and paper. Each participant will need 1 pen and 1 Loteria card per round that you play. This download comes with Lotería cards in downloads of 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, & 200.
💃 Have one or two hosts in the front of the room. The hosts will call out 1-55 of the Lotería prompts. As they are being called, participants will mark off the items on their Lotería cards. Items can be displayed on the screen in your room through Sidekick, Video/Still Slides, or Powerpoint. Make sure to have your Tech Volunteer running the slides mix up the items being called. You can play Lotería! Lotería! by having your participants get four in a row or as a blackout, where every item on their Lotería card is full!
